While trying to find a gone-wild apple tree in the woods to photograph, I found this little “golden apple” peeking out of the leaf litter that had spiritual symbolism for me. My original focus shifted. It reminded me that sometimes I may be looking for one thing in life, but find or receive something else far better if I can stay in the present moment and be curious and receptive.
