This painting is a reminder to me that when I’m face down in the snows of life, rather than dig deeper, I can look up from that hard work once in a while. Maybe I will see light shining towards me, a light I wasn’t aware of until I paused and became still.
We often forget to get quiet, to just turn inward and listen… to notice or receive what gifts and messages, assistance and love might already be there
