Burnt out and uninspired from back-to-back painting deadlines, I decided take a break. I felt a nudge to walk home a different way and noticed an apple tree in bloom. I took many photos and felt an artistic theme from my past start to blossom again. This little flower from that tree reminds me that sometimes inspiration comes not from pressure, but from rest.
