Roaming around my friends’ farmhouse garden in the morning sun, I was drawn to these hollyhocks. This painting of them reminds me of the gardens Anne found so beautiful at Green Gables. Like her, I want to get lost in the beauty of flowers, entertain flights of fancy, and relish new days with no mistakes in them.
